destiny swapping
I didn't know what destiny swapping was until later.
My words lit the fire under your feet. My encouragement kept you going. My delight in everything you did brought inspiration.
One day you betrayed me, because it was an attempted destiny swap. You saw my aspirations and how epic and exciting and thrilling they were, and you jumped onto my wagon with the intention to push me off eventually.
When it was time to celebrate me and my accomplishments I found the coldest shoulder you'd ever given another soul.
I won't dwell much on this, I'm off to go accomplish my dreams that originated from the purity of my own heart. I wish you well, my old friend.
