sandcastle
Sinking, bone-tired, and vulnerable.
When the world falls apart around me, I don't have to fall apart with it. I can pick up each heavy foot and move forward. I can remember that rest will come as the sun falls. I trust that the moon will watch over me as I sleep.
Life is a cycle, and right now it's a lesson. The day will come when the doors burst open and ceiling shatters and I am in a different place. Instead of swimming I will give into these crashing waves and learn to breathe and relax. I will float as the tide eventually brings me in.
These hands of mine will build a beautiful sandcastle. The work I do will mean something. My abundance will funnel into joy and travel and my child and safety.
I will continue to reach for these airy goals, even if it feels impossible.
